Using your depth positively
- and what to watch out for!
Last month we discussed slant.
This month we are looking at depth. The two work intricately together,
and have an extensive effect on our relationships, whether personal or
business.
Heavy writing as mentioned means
retention of feeling. It also means appreciation of color, both the
color of the spectrum and the color of life. It is a great trait to
have any any of the arts as well as many other areas of life.
The light line writer may still
take things to heart, but they will let it go more quickly.
In terms of carrying a grudge, the
light line writer will not carry any grudge for any length of time.
The very heavy line writer is likely to carry a grudge to the grave with
them.
In terms of personal relationships,
the heavy writer will continue to feel that deep, sometimes overwhelming
feeling of connection they experiences when first meeting someone. The
light line writer is just as capable of long term love and relationship, but
will adapt it to a more comfortable feeling more quickly.
When a light line writer and a
heavy line writer have a fight, each, depending upon their expressiveness
(slant) will make their point, possibly with equal vehemence.
However, in a short time the light
line writer will be over it. It's gone. Time to make up and get
on with life.
But the heavy line writer is still
suffering. Still feeling all the emotion of the fight. Perhaps
reliving it over and over in her/her mind. S/he can't let go.
So the light line writer observing
this gets very annoyed at the fact that the other person can't "get over it"
and get things back to normal.
While the heavy line writer is
hurting inside, and wondering if the light line writer really cares at all
... after all that enormous fight seems to have had no effect on them at
all.
The best thing for light and heavy
line writers to do in a relationship is to understand each others
preferences. Just by understanding where the other is coming from can
make a huge difference in coping with life together.
